Hi, I'm Virginia (Ginny) Clark, a Learning Solutions Manager based in Roanoke, VA.

An analytical problem-solver with a passion for instructional design, I strategize to deliver effective and engaging learning solutions. Deeply invested in the learner experience, I leverage educational psychology principles to enhance knowledge retention, skill transfer, and ultimately, outcomes.

Holding a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology as well as graduate certificates in the Learning Sciences and Human-Centered Design, my approach to training is uniquely holistic and grounded in research.

There are so many factors that may influence an individual's learning experience, from their organizational culture to their mental state on a given day. As an interdisciplinary Learning & Development professional, I analyze learner challenges from multiple angles and present solutions that account for as many factors as possible. By understanding the full context, I cultivate impactful solutions which align to the learners' needs and desired outcomes.

With experience in managing high-volumes of instructional products, I think about about the full user experience. While learner-centered design remains king, consideration must also be given to the lifespan and scalability of the materials. This means relying on systems thinking to carefully design for all stakeholder needs to ensure proper maintenance of content over time, all ultimately benefiting the learner. Quality control, standard operating procedures, and project management all work together to support that maintenance.
